This guys are so good looking it’s hard to take bad photos. The always gorgeous hotel Cala Luna in Langosta Beach, made the perfect location to make their dream come true. To be with each other, with the people they love in a place they love. Enjoy the photos!
This was probably one of the most challenging weddings I’ve shot in a few weeks but probably one of the most romantic. Rainy season makes things a lot more complicated but it also brings a blessed atmosphere. I was delighted to see that the Brandy and Anthony didn’t stop their plans to get married at the beach and had all the umbrellas ready for the guests, it made it so special and different! Brandy and Anthony have 3 kids and they were a huge part of their union celebration, hanging out with them during the getting ready made it triple fun and crazy! I was honored to photograph not only these two people but also their whole family who lived up to their Georgian culture and their love for one another.
This gorgeous couple deserved no less than a feature on the Destination Style Me Pretty blog! Here is the full post
I was looking forward to this wedding so much since it took place in a gorgeous place where after all this years I still hadn’t worked at yet, Hacienda Pinilla. Pinilla is very close to Tamarindo Beach, it’s location in Guanacaste and it’s huge. Most of it is preserved land. The kind of nature it has tends to be dry, specially on summertime, but it’s still gorgeous, the combination of trees, greenery and some light/dark browns makes this location different from what I’m used to.
I was also so exited to work with wedding designers Aimee Monihan and Anahí Contreras from Tropical Occasions, one of my absolute favorite wedding coordinators. Their amazing creative staff (you’ll se the decor at the end of this post) attention to detail, careful organization and coordination with me several days before the wedding proofed them to be not only amazing girls but extraordinary at what they do, if you are planning to do your wedding in Costa Rica, make sure to check them out!
Aside from this, the couple was simply stunning, Sianny and I met a while back since she is also Costa Rican, but lives in the US. And we had a great time talking about her plans and vision for her wedding. Greg (from the US) and her made such a romantic combination involving some good sense of humor and some latin flavor. They where an amazing couple for me, not only because I really like them, but because they where very intentional in dedicating time for the wedding photos.
They saw each other about an hour an a half before the wedding so we could drive around the Hacienda to shoot in the best places. At the end of this time, we all met with the wedding party and did family photos and bridal party. After that the ceremony and cocktail hour and a bit more time for more portraits (yes!) and later on a super fun party with incredible lighting, and aspect that is crucial for amazing wedding photos that is often forgotten.
Well, but enough about words, here are a few photos for your visual enjoyment.
And the main event’s photos are here!

Diana and Chris are an awedome couple, thanks to Chris I read “Oryx & Crake” by Margaret Atwood, cool book. I’m always thankful to have a couple like them to work for… very laid back, willing to do anything for the shot and all about having fun.
